Local schools sow seeds to help cancer charity Star Throwers

Garboldisham Church Primary School are one of a number of local schools sowing seeds for Star Throwers, a cancer support charity in Wymondham, in aid of their Well Being Day on Saturday March 31st. Wicklewood Primary School's after school club and Robert Kett Junior school are also kindly growing various plants for the event.

The herb and vegetable plants will be sold at a plant stall on the day with all proceeds going towards supporting those affected by cancer.

Star Throwers are working with Norwich MIND and Norfolk County Council Adult Education Services to host the Well Being Day, a free event where people can go to have a taste and even learn for themselves various relaxing and uplifting well being therapies, ranging from relaxing massage to calming gardening to informal talks to Djembe drumming and more.

If you would like to sow a seed for Star Throwers or for more information about the day, please call 01953 423304 or email info@starthrowers.org.uk.
